Abstract
Slurry compressibility was evaluated by using three different methods; constant pressure filtration, hydrostatic pressure measurement and ultrasonic attenuation method. In order to discuss the effect of dispersant amount on slurry compressibility, the dispersant amount was changed 0.16-0.60g/100gAl2O3. It was found that these methods could be useful to determine optimum conditions for slurry preparation more appropriately and more quickly than the traditional sedimentation method.
