Abstract
We have investigated the stability of photo-induced color centers in soda-lime silicate glasses of a) basic composition (74SiO2·6Na2O·10CaO in mol%), b) basic composition with 0.07wt% Fe2O3 and c) basic composition with 0.07wt% Fe2O3 melted at oxiding condition. The fading ratio of the absorption intensity due to photo-induced hole centers at 50°C during the period of 2-9 months after X-ray irradiation decreased in the order of a), c), b), while that during the period of one month after X-ray irradiation decreased in the order of b), c), a).
