Abstract

The fading behaviour of photo-induced coloration due to non-bridging oxygen hole centers was analyzed under the assumption that the recombination of a hole and a trapped electron is the first order reaction through a thermally activated process of the electron. For several types of distribution function of activation energy, the parameters of the functions were determined so that the calculated decay curves were well fitted to the experimentally obtained curves.
