Abstract
10 mol% SrO and 20 mol% MgO doped LaGaO3 (LSGM1020) was directly synthesized via a gel combustion process. The properties of the powder as-obtained were characterized by XRD, Raman, BET and SEM. It has rhombohedral structure even without high temperature calcinations. The powder has porous morphology and its specific surface area reaches 122 m2/g.
