Abstract
Fe1-xCoxB powders were prepared by solid state reaction of iron, cobalt and boron at 950°C in vacuum. The specimens for the measurement were fabricated by HIP at 900°C for 2h under a pressur of 100MPa. Electrical conductivity and Seebeck coefficient were measured as a function of temperature up to 400°C. Electrical conductivity of the samples of Fe1-xCoxB (x=0, 0.05, 0.1, 0.2, 0.5) showed metal, and that of Fe1-xCoxB (x=0.7, 0.9, 0.95) showed semiconductive. CoB showed metal-semiconductor transition. Seebeck coefficient were negative for x=0,1, and positive for x=0.5.
