Abstract
In this study, we tried to synthesize TiO2 particle by hydrolysis of TiOSO4 solution using the domestic microwave oven. Microwave irradiation was controlled by the measurement of temperature in the reaction system using the optical fiber. By microwave-heating method, the precipitate formed after 2-6min, which was earlier than the case of conventional refluxing method. This result indicates that the hydrolysis of TiOSO4 was promoted by microwave irradiation. The XRD pattern of the product showed the week peaks of anatase phase. The particle size of product was 100-500nm and the particle was aggregated.
