Abstract
Interlayer surface modification of portonated forms of ion-exchangeable layered perovskites, HLaNb2O7.xH2O and HCa2Nb3O10.xH2O was performed. Bulky alcohols, which did not react directly, can be dissociateively immobilized using appropriate intermediate alkoxyl derivatives. Furthermore, interlayer surface can be modified with trifluoroacetic acid and silanol-terminated polydimethylsiloxane. It was possible to conduct hydrosilylation between immobilized C=C groups and hydrosilanes in the interlayer space.
