Abstract

Sumitomo Electric has focused on the development of a variety of functional (optical, thermal and anti-frictional) ceramics and ceramic matrix composites using the powder metallurgy. In this report, some latest topics about materials such as Si3N4, ZnS and Cu-graphite composites, are introduced.
