Abstract

A sensor applying surface plasmon resonance(SPR) phenomenon can be detected a changing of refractive index in a space over gold film. The SPR-sensor uses to detect an interaction between biomolecules. An interaction between ceramic film and biomolecule will also be able to detect by inserting the ceramic film to the detecting space. The changing of refractive index is measured as a maximum angle of attenuated total reflection (SPR-angle). The SPR-angle can be calculated using Fresnel's equation. In this study, we made devices of SPR-sensor with ceramic films and analyzed an optical property of the films to SPR-angles comparing theoretical calculation.
