We prepared and characterized hydrophobic MgO nanoparticles. The concentration of silane coupling agents were 1.0×10-5, 1.0×10-4, 1.0×10-3 mol/g. We added the hydrophobic MgO nanoparticles to liquid crystal, and constracted the liquid crystal cell for electrical evaluation. We evaluated the V-T, R-T and the voltage holding ratio(VHR) of the liquid crystal cells. It was found that the liquid crystal cell showed a high-speed response.
