We have been trying synthesizing novel perovskite-type oxyfluoride (PbMO2F M=Sc, Al, Ga, Cr, Mn and In). Recently, we succeeded to synthesize one of these compounds, PbScO2F. The PbScO2F was prepared under 4 GPa and 1273 K using a high-pressure high-temperature technique. The crystal structure is cubic perovskite-type one. The dielectric permittivity is about 90 at room temperature. According to the TG/DTA analysis, the PbScO2F is found to be stable up to 970 K under ambient atmosphere.
