Tungsten bronze KSr2Nb5O15/SUB> (KSN) piezoelectric type ceramics were prepared by Pulsed Current Hot Pressing. Sintering was conducted at temperatures ranging from 1000C to1250C under vacuum under 40MPa. The heating rate was 50K/min and the soaking time was in the range of 0 to 20 min. The microstructure and the phase identification were analyzed scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD). The density of the sintered ceramics increased with an increasing in sintering temperatures as well as in soaking time. Materials with a near-theoretical density of the could be attained by sintering at 1250C for 10 min.
