Dielectric and electromechanical properties of BaTiO3 ceramics are inDielectric and electromechanical properties of BaTiO3 ceramics are investigated for application to the actuator and capacitor. The BaTiO3 ceramics are prepared by conventional solid state reaction from the powder synthesized by hydrothermal method. The powders are pressed and sintered at 1050-1450°C. With increasing sintering temperature, the relative density and dielectric constant of the samples increase, generally. BaTiO3 ceramics sintered at 1350°C exhibit the dielectric constant of 4740 at room temperature.
