Abstract
Nano Ag-colloid dispersed organosilsesquioxane films were prepared via sol-gel method, and the coloration and bleaching behavior the films with UV-irradiation and heat treatment were investigated. Silver particles with ~10 nm diameter were precipitated after UV irradiation, and absorbance of the films around 420 nm was increased. The redox reaction of Ag+/Ag changed significantly by changing the functional groups of organosilsesquioxanes and by adding TiO2 component.
