Abstract
It has been expected to develop small and inexpensive sensors detecting volatile organic compound (VOC) which causes so called sick house syndrome. We are developing SnO2-based sensors for detecting total VOC (T-VOC) quantitatively. To reduce the influence of humidity on the sensor response, we have investigated the effects of the addition of Au, Pt, and Pd nano particles to the SnO2 based sensors.
