Abstract

In this study, we report on dielectric properties of nanostructured barium titanate free-standing films with average grain sizes from 57nm to 1.6μm synthesized at the liquid surface using sol-gel method. Free-standing films with a coarse grain showed a normal ferroelectric behavior. Free-standing film with a grain size of 57nm, however, showed unusual frequency dependence of dielectric response.
