Synthesis of nano porous silica films and their application to cell scaffolds

Abstract

The regenerative medicine to reproduce damaged body tissues is noticed recently. For the cell culture in vitro, the useful cell culture scaffolds to control the cell attachment, proliferation and the differentiation is required. In this research, the novel cell culture scaffolds that arranged a pore of nanometer size regularly were prepared, and the control of the shape and proliferation of the cells on the films were achieved.
