Abstract
Piezoelectric properties under large-amplitude vibration of x(Bi0.5Na0.5)TiO3-y(Bi0.5Li0.5)TiO3-zBaTiO3+wMnCO3 wt% [BNLBT100y-100zMnw ; y = 0.04, z =0.02 ~ 0.08, w = 0, 0.4] ceramics were studied. Vibration velocity v0-p of rhombohedral side, BNLBT4-4Mn0.4 and MPB composition, BNLBT4-6Mn0.4, linearly increased with increasing applied field Ea at v0-p ≤ 1.5 m/s. Furthermore, BNLBT4-4Mn0.4 had a larger mechanical quality factor Qm and higher depolarization temperature Td than BNLBT4-6Mn0.6.Therefore, rhombohedral sides BNT-based ceramics are good candidate materials for high power applications.
