Abstract
Vibration harvesters, sensors and actuators based on piezoelectrics are considered as one of the new energy technologies available for saving the electricity power consumption. In this study, we prepared the BaTiO3 / PVDF composite sheet to satisfy both of displacement and mechanical endurance properties in the above applications. The results showed that PVDF containing needle-like-shaped BaTiO3 ceramic filler demonstrated high electrical-field-induced strains with less non-liner hysteresis than the case of cube-like-shaped BaTiO3 ceramic filler.
