Abstract
Ba-doped LaTaON2 oxynitrides were obtained by ammonolysis of amorphous oxide precursors in the NH3(500ml/min) at 1223K 24h.The band gap Eg of Ba-doped LaTaON2 oxynitrides became narrower than LaTaON2. NaCl as a flux was added for the synthesis of Ba-doped LaTaON2. Particle size distributions of samples synthesized by the flux method became sharper than flux-free samples, resulting in improvement of reflectance after absorption edge.
