Low temperature preparation and application of titania nanocrystal-dispersed films via sol-gel process with hot-water-treatment

Abstract

The formation of titania nanocrystalline coatings at low temperatures via sol-gel process with hot-water-treatment is reviewed. The effects of external fields on the formation of titanaia nanocrystals from the films are discussed. Promising characteristics of the resultant titania nanocrystals-dispersed coatings with unique are described.
