Abstract
For an angiogenesis therapy, it has been necessary for biodegradable synthetic cell-carrier to live the cells in the body for a certain period. In this study, we fabricated hydroxyapatite(HAp) nanocrystal-coated poly(L-lactic acid)(PLLA) microspheres from oil-in-water type Pickering emulsions stabilized with the nanocrystals. The fabricated microspheres were examined as an injectable cell scaffold for cell-based therapeutic angiogenesis in mice ischemic hind-limbs. In the co-injection of bone marrow mononuclear cells (BMC), the avoidance rate of limb necrosis more increased statistically than that of BMC independently.
