Abstract

We have experience to use data filing system that devised by Asanuma. We investigated both the merit and demerit of compressed image (JPEG method) , and the quality of compressed image of each rate. Until the compression rate was one 20th, the impairement of image quality was hardly detectable in common electric endoscopy. When the compression rate was one 20th, the impairement of image quality was detectable in magnifying electric endoscopy. So that it was necessary that we should change compression rate for purpus.
