Abstract

It is well-known that self-reference (Selbstbeziehung) or reflexive phenomenon often gives rise to Perpelexity. But it is not easy to understand complehensively its structure, logic and ways of appearing.
One typical form of reflexiveness which self-love, self-deception, self-mover and the like have is to be formulated as follows;
(aRb) & (a≠b) & (a=b)
This contradicts in itself. Then, how are these phenomena possible?
Other typical form is one which incorporates so-called liar-paradox, i. e.,
a=F (a)
According to this, the whole is equated with its one part. This type has many versions and causes other embarassement: voidness, self-destruction, regressus ad infinitum, and vicious circle.
Perhaps self-consciousness would be a most important key for an attempt to comprehend reflexiveness in general.
