方位概念の定言的使用

There are some problems concerning the concept of direction. One of them is Kant's problem of incongruous counterparts and another one is a problem of right-left reversion of mirror images. We can consider the former from a standpoint of hypothetical use of the concept of direction and the latter from that of categorical use of the same concept. In this paper we treat the latter which is more essential and more difficult to solve than the former.
The general property of the concept of direction is that when (n-1) sets are determined, the nth set is already determined. And in our case this last set is a set of Right and Left.
