The RAW image files of color digital cameras are produced by direct analog to digital converting from the Bayer filtered imaging devices. The Bayer-RAW images are not affected by the image processing of the camera system, so the MTF of optical system can calculate from Bayer-RAW images. The green-MTF of an optical system for digital still camera which output the RAW images are calculated from slanted black/white edges which are interpolated by 1-dimensional filter. The optical MTF for white light are also calculated.
