Ribonucleic acid (RNA) preparation extracted from guinea pigs immunized with diphtheria toxoid was capable of transferring cellular antibody production into normal animals beyond animal species but serum antibody was not detected in any animals. By contrast, high titer of serum antibody was produced by the injection with small dose of diphtheria toxoid to guinea pigs which had previously received immune RNA preparation, this probably being a characteristic secondary response.
