Abstract
Precise isotopic abundance ratios of molybdenum were measured for three iron meteorites, Canyon Diablo, Hardesty and Sikhote-Alin, together with terrestrial molybdenites. Of these samples studied, the Sikhote-Alin iron meteorite was found to show a peculiarity in Mo isotopic abundance ratio; (i) a general anomaly, i.e., a smooth decrease from mass number 92 through 98 (or 100?), (ii) a special positive anomaly (14.9 ε) at mass number 96, and (iii) a special positive anomaly (50.1 ε) at mass number 100. (The latter two values of“anomaly”refer to the deviations relative to the general trend.)
