The First Scientific Meeting for Medical Residents of 4 Hospitals (Juntendo University Hospital, Juntendo Shizuoka Hospital, Juntendo Urayasu Hospital and Juntendo Nerima Hospital)

Abstract

The First Scientific Meeting for Medical Residents was held at Century Tower of Juntendo University on July 2, 2010. Two hundred and twenty-five residents (91.9% of the 1 st year residents, 71.9% of the2 nd year and 83.0% of all) of 4 hospitals attached to Juntendo University, School of Medicine attended the meeting. The program of this meeting, which was planned to facilitate progress in the academic activities of medical residents, included clinical case presentations by 4 medical residents, mini-lectures related to individual clinical cases by attending doctors and research presentations by postgraduates. A high value was placed on the research presented in the Poster Session by Postgraduate School, JuntendoUniversity this May. Assessment of this meeting by a questionnaire survey of the medical residents showed a satisfactory rating for each program.
