Abstract
The Auther studied on the simultaneous polytomography using the existing X-ray tomography unit. In this cassete, the five sets of type folie for 80KVp use were superimposed, to obtain the images corresponding to five sections at different depth in the body. The sharpness was examined in the range of 65-80KVp, with and without the paraffin phantom, and the sharpness was measured by the metal grid. From the experimental result, it was concluded that the unsharpness due to secondary radiations, reduced the radiographic sharpness in simultaneous tomography more than in the conventional single tomography. It was necessary. to use high efficiency Bucky. to use low voltage. to use narrow beem. then it were adequate for clinical use.
