Development of New Value Creation and Evaluation System in Breakdance Using Deep Learning

Abstract

In this research, we developed a system which automatically discriminates motion and visualizes the result in break dance which is spreading widely in recent years. At that time, we aimed to develop a system that uses shoes incorporating an acceleration sensor (Smart Footwear Orphe) to classify movements under natural environment by deep learning and feed back the results to dancers. In this presentation, as well as introducing the system, we also report on the course of the case of evaluating the degree of originality of movements by applying the above system. Also, we examine how this case affects dancers by being incorporated into dance culture.
