Catch Me if Yahoo Can: Hotel Recommendation for Potential Travelers using Transit App Log

Abstract

We suggest ‘proactive recommendation’ method that catches user context from multi-data and recommends information they need. In this case, people who are planning to travel or business trip tend to search a route to go to the destination beforehand. We use the transit search log to find out the potential travelers and recommend hotels near their destination. This paper is consideration and summary of the method’s verification.
