Abstract

With the aim to raise awareness of the magazine “THE BIG ISSUE JAPAN”, we started a bookmark project wherein readers were encouraged to pass magazines to acquaintances. Readers can visit the special website of this project with QR codes printed on the bookmarks, and they can pay online if desired. As a result of this project, 803 magazines with the bookmarks were sold, 42 readers passed the magazines to acquaintances, and two readers paid online.
