Abstract

We discuss technological solutions for relieving human anxieties from two aspects: (1) an embodiment factor of the agent, and (2) if there exists any other human behind the agent. We bring an example of preventing the social isolation of the elderly by introducing mediator agents, and envision other examples based on the two aspects. This is a position paper for an Organized Session in JSAI2020, ``AI for Relieving Anxieties.''
