A Design of Core Vocabulary to Support Data Sharing in the Dairy Farming

Abstract

One of bottlenecks to promote the precision dairy farming is a lack of data interoperability. The core vocabulary in the domain of dairy farming to support data sharing is not developed in Japan. We describe the current situation of the data utilization in the dairy farming, review the existing ontology related to the cattle, and design the core vocabulary of feed name frequently utilized in precision dairy farming system to secure interoperability.
