Movie Script Story Development Structure Analysis and Plot Generation for Automatic Scenario Generation

Abstract

In recent years, the number of required scenarios has increased. Therefore, automatic scenario generation is required. In this research, we propose a method to generate plots with a common structure of stories. Although automatic scenario generation requires plot data of the scenario to be used as material, it is difficult to prepare a large amount of data manually. Therefore, it is necessary to extract data for plot creation from existing scenarios and use them as materials. Therefore, we focused on movie script for automatic scenario generation. In order to use a movie script as a material for automatic scenario generation, a plot with a structured story development is required. In order to extract it from the movie script, we tried to split the movie script at the point where the story development changes. It was suggested that focusing on the characters in the movie could capture changes in story development.
