Lecture videos with interactions a real teacher and virtual agents have a possible beneficial effect but editing such movies are time-consuming. In this study, we develop a new video editing system for flipped classrooms that uses a virtual presenter with AR (Augmented Reality) technologies. We realize an AR Puppet that is an agent in AR space to help students learn by lecture videos for flipped classrooms. The system enables teachers to interact with the puppet in the lecture videos without effort because they can efficiently operate the puppet on general-purpose devices while delivering their lectures like live presentations. We explore minimal operations of low cognitive load on interactions with AR puppets while conducting lectures. This paper describes how to implement the video editing system for flipped classrooms based on live presentations with AR puppets.
