Decision making on fake news

Abstract

With the development of artificial intelligence technology, automatic sentence generation AI, which automatically generates news articles from SNS information, has been developed, and opportunities for AI to automatically generate news are increasing.But the problem with this AI is that anyone can easily create fake news.In the future, fake news created by this AI will likely spread widely through SNS and other media. We thought that we need critical thinking disposition to avoid to spread fake news. In this study, we conducted a questionnaire to investigate the relationship between critical thinking disposition and whether people spread the news with ambiguous information. As a result, our study revealed that there is no relationship between critical thinking disposition and whether people spread the news with ambiguous information.
