Development of the patent values evaluation method considering growth of technical community

Abstract

Patent value evaluation methods is useful for evaluate a technology of companies and an importance of the technology researching and developing. Convetional these methods evaluate only value of the present time and do not consider the growth of techunical community. So in this paper, we propose a patent value evaluation method which consider the growth of technical community. In our method, first, detect technical community from the citation relation between patents. We use Node2Vec and clustering for the detection. Next, analyze the growth of technical community. We consider some analyze method, for example, LSTM and ARIMA.
