Structural attributes that characterize the social attributes of social networks

Abstract

In social network analysis, structural attributes around nodes may have a useful function. Natsume et al. defined operators that gives structural heterogeneity, and analyzed the behavior of egos by the formal concept analysis applying attributes obtained by these operators. However, it targets a limited number of attributes and restricts the way operators apply them. A wide range of attributes related to structure and a variety of application should be examine. Therefore, in this study, we defined new attributes based on structural heterogeneity and investigated their usefulness including them. As a result, we obtained useful results for several combinations of operators and attributes.
