Abstract

For connecting new technology with human activities, it is important to create a new context of the activity for utilizing the technology. For that purpose, it is important to do design socially. In this paper, we describe the findings of contextual creation from a reflection on societal design in collaboration with the practitioners that the authors are developing to explore. One is that the work execution and the worker's experience (emotional) in practice are inseparable, and the flow of meaning emerged there supports the job. Second, collaborating on the design of new tools and activities provides practitioners' reflection on their own practice. The discussion is based on the design of "Care Dignity: system for fostering pride of caregivers", which is a concept of activities and tools aimed at implementation of Structured Knowledge (AI) technology to a nursing home as a case.
