Unexplored Data Design and Origination Process: A Case of AI Product Acceptability

Abstract

Ethical issues of AI technologies have been examined worldwide, and laws, regulations, guidelines are being developed. However, although the general social acceptability have been discussed, the communities’ and individuals’ acceptance process of these technologies and their opportunities are unexplored issues. In this study, we design unexplored data focusing on individuals’ acceptance of AI products using Variable Quest and discuss the process of data origination and its results.
