In a previous study, case frames were used to generate questions for sentences lacking sufficient information to understand the content. However, the previous study only considered input sentences in the active voice and present tense and so cannot generate appropriate questions for sentences with the past tense and passive voice. In this work, we propose a new method to generate questions for such input sentences by additional question templates dealing with the past tense and passive voice. We conducted an experiment to verify the proposed method using BCCWJ.
