Previous research has demonstrated that the fundamental principle underlying the development of a positive relationship between humans and robots lies in the similarity of their appearance and behavior. However, these designs operate in a passive manner, and maintaining the relationship over an extended period is too difficult.Consequently, we hypothesize relationships may be sustained through the active cultivation of shared experiences and have chosen to concentrate on the concept of 'shared reality.' In this inquiry, there are two stages involved in the formation and preservation of a relationship through shared reality. In the initial stage, norms are established as a shared reality between two individuals through interaction. The subsequent phase entails the normative influence of the shared reality established between the individuals on their behavior. In this study, we investigated the possibility of establishing such a stage between humans and robots. The experimental results suggest the validity of the first step.
