Development of auto-controllable sailing system and control algorithm

Abstract

We are developing algorithms that catch the wind and sail efficiently at sea by automatic control using AI. In the 2023 Jsai Kumamoto presentation, we verified and reported through model experiments that it is possible to sail upwind with our unique sailing system. In this year's report, we report on the following measures to more efficiently collect AI training data to improve sailing speed.*Miniaturization of the marine sailing experimental model.*Connection from the experimental model to the cloud computer via mobile communication network.
