Abstract

An essential component of human cognition, memories, help to shape who we are and how we make decisions. Reminiscence is an act of remembering and recalling past experiences or moments. This study combines a personal photo as a store of memory contents and the Adaptive Control of Thought-Rational (ACT-R) model for simulating memory recall. Based on this idea, previous studies have integrated emotion recognition from speech into a cognitive model. This study focuses on to improving parameter settings and expanding the method into users countries outside Japan.
