Recently the authors had a chance to collate almost all records of crinoids from Japanese waters described by Gislen, A. H. dark, some Japanese outhers, etc. since 1884. As the result of this collation, a total of 103 species of crinoids including stalked forms and unstalked comatulids are listed.
