Abstract

The point of contact between the education world and industry is limited to job hunting, but if students can learn from active employees, it will be good for them to broaden the view and thinking of students. For active employees, social contribution to foster students’ ability may lead to revitalization and motivation of employees. Many of the members of the PMI Japan Chapter are active employees, and many of them wish to contribute to society through voluntary work. This report takes two cases reported in the PMI Japan forum 2021 in which such active employees conducted training for students. One is a lecture entitled “Trial to Pass on Project Management by Students for Students”, in which the students who have learned Project Management (PM) plan and teach PM to new students. The second is a lecture entitled “SDGs Startup Training for Students”, which is a training to create new ideas and present business plans on the ideas using lean canvas. In this report, each person in charge will discuss the outline, aim, and noticed points in the training, and report on the results of the questionnaire, its analysis, and the future of the training plan.
