Abstract

In recent years, EVM has evolved into an essential tool for performance management. The historical background and lessons learned of its evolution contain many useful insights for strategically using EVM in performance management. This paper provides information on the findings and insights necessary for strategic thinking in performance management and project management by sequentially tracking and examining the history of this evolution.
