Abstract
We encountered a relatively rare case of multiple mucous cyst of an infant's lower lip.
The patient was a 1-year and 6-month-old girl who had a multiple, painless mass (one was dome-shaped and the other was inverted heart-shaped) on the midline of the lower lip. The lesion was excised under general anesthesia. Histopathological examination revealed the lesion was composed of three mucous cysts with no epithelial lining.
There is no evidence of recurrence two years after surgical removal of the cysts.
